About Shanzhu, and the studio behind it

Shanzhu was not dreamed up in a boardroom. It grew out of the day-to-day reality of running photobooths at real events, where the software always felt like an afterthought bolted onto great hardware. We decided to build the layer that was missing.
We ran booths at weddings, corporate parties and private events, and we kept hitting the same walls: gear scattered across a van, events tracked in spreadsheets, guest photos stuck on an SD card, and no clean way to hand a branded gallery to a client. Every tool we tried solved one slice and ignored the rest.
So we built the whole thing as one platform: the fleet, the scheduling, the event setup, the capture experience on the booth and the white-label gallery your clients actually see. One place, from the van to the shared link.
Shanzhu (山竹) is the mangosteen, the fruit often called the queen of fruits. Its deep purple and magenta skin lands right on the vibrant palette of our logo, and the word itself has a punchy, memorable ring to it.
The name is a small promise. A mangosteen looks unassuming from the outside and hides something rich within. That is the product we wanted: clean and simple on the surface, with a complete, capable platform underneath.
Note on wording: Shanzhu is the brand. The word "photobooth" stays a common noun for the booth itself, the thing guests step in front of at an event.
Shanzhu is built by Tigreboite, an independent studio. We design and ship the whole platform ourselves: the app, the landing, the API and the booth software. No outsourced core, no roadmap we do not control.
That means the people who answer your questions are the people who write the code. We ship what our own events need first, and everything is hosted in Europe with GDPR built in from the start.
